A discount for further study at the University of Hull

Loyalty is a two-way street; so we're pleased to offer a graduate studentship to all alumni of the University. This amounts to a fee discount on all postgraduate taught courses. As a Hull graduate, you already have a lifelong connection with your university but if you're considering further study, you don't have to start all over again at a brand new university – a postgraduate programme at Hull can provide a natural extension of your student experience with us.

Lifelong careers advice

As an alumnus of the university you are entitled to free lifelong support for career and provisional development. This guarantee includes:

  • The university’s careers & employability service which provides year round access to one-to-one careers support, workshops, employer-led interview practice, and a major annual careers fair. To access the service ring (01482) 465096.
  • A careers service jobs board which collates a broad range of graduate (and later career) opportunities. Please email or register online.
  • Access to opportunities presented by employers who are seeking to fill graduate positions. The university has built strong partnerships with employers in the region and beyond; an impressive range of internships, volunteering opportunities graduate jobs and professional and academic roles are available.

Ongoing access to campus facilities 

Alumni are encouraged to continue to make full use of campus facilities including:

  • The Brynmor Jones Library (Associate Reader status, with option for full borrowing rights)
  • Students' Union cafes and bars
  • Theatres (Gulbenkian Centre, Middleton Hall)

Discounted theatre and event tickets
